The star of the Afniah was ignited in 2004 by the creative engineer (Hamad Al-Shagawi) and the philosopher of architecture (Dr. Mishary Al-Naim). They did this with endurance, high ambition, and innovative design. With the audacious goal of reorienting the local building and architectural trends while maintaining a modern aesthetic and avoiding any conflicts with regional traditions and customs.

With its ideals, objectives, and cultural concept, Afniah is a professional, intellectual institution that aims to establish a cutting-edge architectural trend. In fact, by reinstating the idea of cultural heritage and presenting it in a modern and contemporary architecture, it developed the intellectual and technological concept. This was done in the design of the Saudi house. Day by day, these tendencies started to establish themselves in Afniah. Thus, our system emerged and slowly started to grow.

(Engr. Boshlibi), an architect, joined Afniah’s staff in 2011 and brought with him a solid understanding of Afniah's goals. Afniah quickly changed its professional course, switching from Local to Global. through establishing international JV and adopting international standards and procedures for Planning and Projects Construction. Along with local & international suppliers, manufacturers and contractors.

This methodology is lacking at many engineering schools in the Arab world, combined with a lack of developing the idea of professional practice with social responsibility, has resulted in these schools being professionally and socially lagging behind the times. Afniah founders took note of this, as they hoped to use the organization they'd created to stimulate a cultural movement in the field of architecture and urbanism, share the results of their research with the local community, and share professional and intellectual experiences with a wide range of international partners.

We don't think it's an exaggeration to suggest that Afniah, via their intellectual and professional work, has provided a template for new, innovative professional firms that can serve as both an inspiration and a great lesson.

Management was eager to step up efforts in 2021 to establish a system that governs professional work, sets laws and frameworks that serve the interests of the company and its employees simultaneously, and provides innovative solutions in creative ways, and the company made great strides toward many of the things it had been planning and seeking. The company and its employees have made unprecedented progress.

Today, Afniah is considered one of the leading companies locally, as a center for innovation, creativity and development, supported by the guidance, encouragement and continuous follow-up of its aspiring management to lead Afniah to the top and place it in the first ranks locally and globally.
